The proceeds from Roar on the Shore® 2018 will benefit the Sarah A. Reed Children’s Center, Erie’s oldest nonprofit human service provider. The Center is a leader in the care and treatment of children with mental health, behavioral health and severe emotional challenges. Funds from Roar® 2018 will help cover the general construction costs of a new, 12-bed residence hall project for the Center’s 24/7 Residential Program located at its main campus on West 34th Street in Erie. This new residence hall will allow the Center to serve an additional 20 to 25 children each year who are struggling to overcome severe emotional, mental health, behavioral health and trauma-related challenges.
