The 2018 Roar on the Shore® Bike Week is the fastest-growing charitable and free motorcycle rally in the nation. Now entering its 12th year, we are expecting more than 165,000 motorcycle enthusiasts from across the country on July 18, 19, 20, 21 and 22, 2018.
Each July, Roar® makes an unprecedented impact by injecting more than $30 million into the local economy, with charitable donations totaling more than $880,000 in the last 11 years. And 2018 will be no exception. Roar on the Shore® is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit event.
Our designated charity this year is the Sarah A. Reed Children's Center, founded by Sarah A. Reed in 1871 and recognized as Erie's oldest nonprofit human service provider. The Center is a leader in the care and treatment of children with mental health, behavioral health and severe emotional challenges, many of whom are victims of trauma and abuse.
